What is Director Rajkumar Hirani’s New Initiative?

A crazy project in the combination of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was formally announced in mid-2022. Titled Dunki, the film has Taapsee Pannu in the female lead role.

As per the official announcement from the team, Dunki will hit the screens on December 22, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously. Rajkumar Hirani’s Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment banner is bankrolling this said-to-be social entertainer.

Meanwhile, the latest reports coming in from Bollywood sources say that Rajkumar Hirani is planning a unique initiative to mentor and introduce new talents. Reportedly, he will be collaborating with Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and Mahaveer Jain to provide a platform for the Newcomers. Along with artists, talented filmmakers and technicians will be launched through the joint venture by Rajkumar Hirani, Jyoti Deshpande and Mahaveer Jain. Reports also suggest that many Bollywood filmmaker will be joining this initiative in the near future.

It is widely known that apart from Dunki, Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan who is currently enjoying the solid success of his recently released dark thriller, Pathaan also has yet another film titled, Jawan at the shooting stage. Being directed by Kollywood director Atlee Kumar, Jawan has Nayanthara as the female lead. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 2, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil versions.
