A project in the combination of Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan and noted Telugu director Hanu Raghavapudi was formally announced last year. Titled Lieutenant Ram, the film was supposed to go on the floors from early this year but it is being postponed due to reasons unknown.
Now, the fresh buzz is that the film’s shooting will commence in Kashmir in the next couple of months( soon after the lockdown relaxations come to existence). As per the reports, Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur and Raashi Khanna names are under consideration for the female lead role in the movie.
Touted as an intense love cum war drama, Lieutenant Ram has Dulquer playing the role of an Army man. Set in the 80s time period, Vishal Chandrasekhar will be scoring music for the film. Swapna Cinema banner is bankrolling the movie.
