Mumbai is the financial capital of India and we always see hustle and bustle there. If you live in the city for atleast a month, you feel like it welcomes you with open arms at the same time throws grave challenges at you all the time. For such a vast city, the cost of living in different areas in also varied. The costs at multiplexes, mainly food higher than what it is in some of the multiplexes in Telugu states. It is almost double. This made a Maharashtra citizen to revolt against this system of robbing money for food. He decided to move to court asking for an explanation for not allowing outside food and an immediate reduction in prices too.

High Court took his plea and asked the multiplex managements to answer the questions. They asked the Government even how did they agreed to not allow outside food into a multiplex. The court directed multiplexes to immediately bring down the high rates and allow the outside food into the theatres. Even it directed Government to pass on order effective as soon as possible.

Maharashtra Government declared that from 1st of August, outside food should be allowed in the Multiplexes of the state. Now, with this decision several multiplex chains are unhappy but they don’t have a Constitutional right to deny anyone what they should eat and corner them to buy only what they sell. Hence, they can’t complain on this order. Even Telugu states people are wondering why can’t such rule be passed even here in Telugu land too. Several multiplexes charge Rs.50/- for just a water bottle. Hence, they want the problem to be addressed soon.
