Why Did
Prabhas Become ‘Sri Prabhas’
in Kalki 2898 AD?
Our star heroes in Indian cinema often have special titles before their names.
For example, Chiranjeevi is called Megastar, Mahesh is Superstar, and Pawan is Powerstar.
Allu Arjun was known as Stylish Star but is now Icon Star.
Ram Charan has titles like Mega Power Star and Global Star.
Prabhas, a Pan-Indian hero, is known as Young Rebel Star and is fondly called Darling by his fans.
In his latest movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘, released on June 27, he was credited as ‘Sri Prabhas’ in the title cards
Which surprised many. Interestingly, every male actor in the movie had ‘Sri’ before their name.
The reason for this decision by the film’s team remains unknown but has generated a lot of buzz.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a grand production.
The movie stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead, with Amitabh Bachchan playing her protector Ashwatthama
And Kamal Haasan as the main villain, Supreme Yashkin.
