Kollywood star Vijay’s upcoming film, Varisu under the direction of Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally is gearing up for a Pongal release.
Produced by Dil Raju, the film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu as well as Vaarasudu on January 11th.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Varisu wrapped up censor formalities today.
Reportedly, the film’s runtime is locked as 170 minutes which means 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Considering the current times and the audience’s mood, the film’s runtime is a bit lengthy.
Will the team trim the screen time or else keep it as it is? Remains to be seen.
Varisu’s Telugu version, Vaarasudu censor formalities are yet to be wrapped up.
Co-starring Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Kick Shyam among others in prominent roles, Varisu has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
Thaman is the music composer for this said-to-be family entertainer.
