It is well-known that star heroine Samantha after the tremendous applause for her role from the North belt in Amazon Prime’s The Family Man season 2, shifted her focus on Bollywood.
As a first attempt, she committed to a web series with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan.
Said to be an official remake of the Russo Brothers’ American show, Citadel, the project being directed by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
As an unexpected scenario, Samantha was diagnosed with a serious health issue a few months back and due to the same, the shooting for Citadel remake was kept on hold.
A couple of weeks back Samantha who is slowly recovering from health issues landed in Mumbai to participate in the shooting for Citadel.
Meanwhile, this morning Amazon Prime management released a few posters of Samantha in which the lady Superstar is seen in a trendy makeover.
Soon after the pics came out, her slim and stylish look in a grey jacket wearing sunglasses went viral on social media.
Already news came out that this Amazon Prime original series will happen in the 90s time period and both Samantha and Varun Dhawan will be appearing in a new look.
Apart from Citadel, Samantha has Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi in the pipeline.
Being directed by Shiva Nirvana, the shooting for Kushi is currently kept on hold.
Mythri Movie Makers banner is producing the film. Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing soundtracks for this romantic drama.
