Jaya Bachchan portrays Ranveer's grandmother, resembling her strict stance with paparazzi, resembling her squabbles with paparazzi.

Technicalities : Karan Johar returns to Bollywood direction after 7 years, previously directing films which have become a cult classic.

Karan, known for his superhit films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, presents this story in his old style with a new thought.

Despite his previous films, Karan's previous work suggests he may have lacked something in this new film.

Analysis :  Despite directing a film after 7 years KJo maintains his shine with lavish sets, dresses, and dancers, showcasing his talent and creativity.

Karan's film's length could have been improved by enhancing screenplay and removing unnecessary scenes.

The first half of the film seems to be heading in the right direction.

The second half could have been more dramatic by increasing emotional scenes and message-driven scenes, while reducing the first half's size.

Verdict : Pritam's  music in the film is good, with decent background score and funky older songs.

Overall, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer this film is enough to make the weekend fun

Rating : 2/5
