Rakul Preet to Walk the Ramp with Jackky Bhagnani for Lakshmi Manchu

At Lakshmi Manchu’s charity event, Tollywood star Rakul Preet Singh is eager to take the runway with boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani.

With her beau Jackky Bhagnani, Tollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh is eager to take the runway at Lakshmi Manchu’s charity fashion show for her non-profit organisation, Teach for Change.

Varun Chakkilam, a renowned fashion designer, will dress the actress to be the showstopper as she glides down the runway.

Speaking about her participation at the show, Rakul Preet said: “Lakshmi is like family to me and doing this for an initiative which is so close to her is really fulfilling.

This is going to be the 8th edition of Teach for Change’s annual charity fashion show and I have seen it grow over the years.”

Rakul is always my first option for show-stopper, Lakshmi continued. As soon as I boardinged her, Varun was ecstatic.

Rakul is not only my friend, philosopher, and mentor—she also has years of ramp experience—but she is also a thoroughbred professional.

Lakshmi did not reveal much when questioned about Rakul’s eye-catching attire other than the fact that she is still split between two different styles that she adores.

“I guess my go-to fashion credo is to really not follow trends, but wear what’s comfortable and style it to make it appear more edgy,” Rakul Preet stated in reference to her personal style.

I enjoy playing with my appearance, and lately I’ve been drawn to warmer tones and colour blocks.

In addition to Rakul, Jackky Bhagnani, badminton superstars Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap, and a few more South Indian celebrities, Lakshmi Manchu will serve as the event’s host.

Teach for Change, an organisation that seeks to educate poor children in South India, will receive the fundraiser’s proceeds.
