However, in a recent interview, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has definitively quashed these fan theories.
He confirmed that the story of Vijay Sethupathi’s character, Sandhanam, has reached its conclusion in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
Sandhanam did indeed die in the climax of “Vikram” and will not make a comeback in the upcoming installments.
In future LCU movies, a new character will take the place of the Vikram antagonist and aid Rolex.
