Natural Star Nani’s upcoming rustic drama, Dasara has already completed its shooting formalities. Currently, the post-production work is underway at a brisk pace.
The makers released the film’s first look teaser yesterday which has been receiving tremendous response from the netizens.
Nani’s rustic makeover, raw visuals, and striking background score by Santhosh Narayanan in the promo have left moviegoers literally in shock.
After the teaser is out, the expectations on the film doubled for obvious reasons.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that Dil Raju has bagged the theatrical rights of Dasara by offering a fancy price.
A few months back news also came out that Dasara non-theatrical rights are sold for Rs 45 crore( including satellite and audio rights).
On the other hand, Dasara’s business for other languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam is yet to be closed. Even the makers are holding key overseas rights as well, say sources.
On the other hand, the news is also in circulation that digital giant Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film.
Considering the above deals and calculations, Dasara is easily a table profit venture for the makers even before the release.
Being directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.
The film is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri and is scheduled for a pan-India release on March 30, 2023.
