Ashtadigbandhanam Telugu Movie Review & Rating

A crime thriller must have as one of its main goals the blending of intriguing components with a game of crime.

Ashtadigbandhanam makes an attempt to accomplish that. It’s appropriate that the  caption reads, “A game with crime.”

Its plot and screenplay follow established conventions. However, the movie makes us care about the characters.

Story: Shankar is a boisterous sheeter and a supporter of Sriramulu, a politician.

Now, Shankar intends to become an MLA by any means necessary. But if he wants a seat, Sriramulu insists that he give the ruling party a financial donation of Rs. 50 crore.

At this point, Shankar enlists the aid of an orphan with prior knowledge of creating uncommon locks to organize a bank robbery.

Enter the role played by Surya Bharat Chandra, who has been living a life free of crime. Another orphan (Vrishika Kota), the hero’s wife, is also an orphan.

What occurs when he and Shankar work together? Will the bank heist be successful?

Performances: The actor who portrays the hero, Surya Bharat Chandra, is excellent. After about twenty minutes, he appears on screen.

From the hospital scene on, he captures the audience’s interest while simultaneously eliciting pity and criticism.

Vishika not only draws attention to herself with her attractiveness but also receives high grades for her performance. The other actors all contribute in some way.

The majority of the characters are on the dark side. There is therefore no room for a comedic track. To his credit, the director doesn’t waste time by enlisting comedians for the show.

Analysis: The movie was created by director Baba PR as a screenplay-based crime thriller. There are no hiccups in the opening half.

The characters who were there around Shankar helped the director successfully elicit suspense. Politics is rife with intrigues, which is amplified when financial malfeasance is  involved .

A bank heist is introduced, and the movie then starts to get intriguing. A twist begins just prior to the intermission. Additionally, the movie need not look back.

After the interval, the viewpoint of the audience changes. In the second half, there is drama as well as a swindle that will have  consequences.

There is a character who has the mind of a skilled con man. There are pursuits and clashes. The climactic theme unites  everything.

Verdict: Ashtadigbandhanam is a crime drama that briefly transitions into a heist drama.

It is a lively thriller because of the political rivalry, con artists, orphans, and numerous other people.

Rating: 1.5/5
