Anushka Shetty is slowly but surely getting back to her fitness levels of before. She wants to make sure that fans won’t be disappointed looking at her in her next film. Also, she is highly choosy about the next script as she doesn’t want to do any random film. Being in Baahubali series and her next film, Bhaagamathie becoming a hit at the box office, gave her enough cushion to pick only what she really wants to next.
The actress thanked her fans for being so kind to her and also said, “I can only feel gratitude towards all my fans who show enormous love and respect towards me.” When asked about how she feels about her star status, she immediately said, “I don’t feel I am a star. In fact none of us, younger generation should feel like stars.”
She explained, “The generation before us has been in cinema for 30 years, 40 years and they stayed so popular for so many years. It is not easy for people to remember you even after a week. But they have made a place for themselves for 40 years. Their hard work in the early days and even today makes me feel that we are all having it easy. Today, we have far more comforts than what they do and I am happy to be popular and when compared to those legends, I feel they are Superstars and Stars. We are just popular.”
