NTR’s entry into Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe marks a thrilling moment for Telugu audiences. Following RRR’s success, fans eagerly anticipated bigger projects for stars like NTR and Ram Charan. NTR’s official entry into Bollywood with War 2 delighted fans who wished to see their favorites on a larger stage.
Contrary to previous Spy Universe films featuring surprise cameos, War 2 starring Hrithik, NTR, and Kiara Advani won’t include such appearances. The decision stems from the lukewarm response to Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Tiger 3, unlike the success of Salman’s appearance in SRK’s Pathaan.
Aditya Chopra, the producer, and director Ayan Mukherji opted not to distract audiences from the lead stars’ impact in War 2. The underwhelming reaction to Tiger 3 urged the makers to refocus their efforts, putting aside the high-budget proposal for Tiger Vs Pathaan.
Instead, they aim to craft an exceptional spy drama with War 2, given the presence of two pan-India stars. The film’s release in January 2025 now becomes their primary focus after reassessing priorities in light of Tiger 3’s reception.
