Yash Raj Films is expanding its Spy Universe by bringing together heroes from films like War, Pathaan and Tiger.
The next big film in this series is War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, directed by Ayan Mukerji. It will release across India in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, on August 14th, just before Independence Day.
2025 also marks 25 years in the film industry for both Hrithik and NTR. To celebrate, the trailer for War 2 will be released on July 25th.
The film will also be available in IMAX and features NTR’s Hindi debut and entry into the YRF Spy Universe.
To promote the film in Telugu states, producer Naga Vamsi has bought the rights for a huge price. A grand pre-release event is being planned in Vijayawada in August. Hrithik and NTR are expected to attend. Kiara Advani plays the female lead.
