It’s been a whole since director VV Vinayak has made a film in Telugu. His last film was Intelligent, with Sai Dharam Tej, way back in 2018. The movie turned out to be a huge disaster, and even though there were many speculations that Vinayak was once again teaming up with Megastar Chiranjeevi, that didn’t happen.
The director is currently busy with the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi, which features Bellamkonda Srinivas in the lead role. Recently, popular producer Bellmakonda Suresh interacted with the media, on the occasion of the 20 years since the release of Balakrishna’s Chennakesava Reddy, which was directed by VV Vinayak.
Bellamkonda said that Pen Studios had watched the rushes of the Hindi version of Chatrapati and loved it so much that they are willing to put in 500 Crores to make a pan-Indian film with Vinayak. This is interesting news for sure, and it is to be seen how true it will turn out to be.
