Vivek Oberoi salutes CRPF jawans!

The actors from different legs of industry beloning to different languages started to look at the national security forces with a new eye these days. Akshay Kumar should be called an inspiration for this change in the attitude in the new brigade of actors. Many of them used to give out a statement or ask producers to donate some money film collections marking that as their job towards the Nation.

Well, all that has changed these days and many actors are genuinely coming forward to help improve the state of affairs of CRPF and other security officers. Vivek Oberoi added his name to the list by donating 25 flats to CRPF jawans killed in the line of duty. He owns a residential real estate project in Thane and he donated the flats from the big project.

Senior Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer said that four flats had already been allotted to the families of slain jawans, including three killed in a Naxal attack in Sukma, Chattisgarh. The other 21 will be allotted to Paramilitary force soon. The preference in allotment will be given to officers belonging to Maharashtra as the flats are located in the state. Well, Vivek Oberoi joins the list of actors and celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Saina Nehwal who already donated to the force in their own way.
