Reports revealed that actor Vivek Oberoi will play Aurangzeb in Rishab Shetty’s upcoming historical epic The Pride of Bharat, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Directed by Sandeep Singh the film stars Rishab as the great Maratha King Shivaji Maharaj showcasing his bravery and vision in establishing Swarajya.
A source said that the casting of Rishab and Vivek brings together two powerful performers for an intense and emotional retelling of great Indian history.
This movie will feature a great drama clash between Shivaji Maharaj and Aurangzeb with Shefali Shah portraying Jijamata.
Currently in production the film is set to release on January 21st 2027. Many are eagerly waiting to see Vivek Oberoi’s look as Aurangzeb.
