These four are hoping for success, so let’s see how the “Viswam” supports them in reaching their goals!

Viswam Movie Review

Viswam Story: Gopi returns to Hyderabad from Italy for the love of his life, Sameera. A series of dramatic events reveal Gopi’s true identity as Viswam. Why does Viswam take on the identity of Gopi? How does he rescue the little girl, Darshana, from terrorists? What is the connection between Viswam and Darshana? What unexpected twists occur in Viswam’s life? Let’s check it out now…!

Performances: Although Gopichand didn’t pay much attention to his looks, his character in the film was entertaining. This movie can be considered his first to engage audiences since “Loukyam”. As usual, he entertained the mass audience with his dance and action sequences. While Kavya Thapar’s character was decent. The romantic song filmed between the two was visually Good.

Sunil and Rahul Ramakrishna attempted to deliver comedy and were successful. However, the dubbing by Hemachandra received more praise than Jisshu Sengupta’s acting. It was disappointing that the crucial villain character wasn’t established properly and that the necessary scenes were lacking. The comedy from Naresh, Pragathi, Prudhvi Raj, and Vennela Kishore was decent.

Technical Aspects: Compared to Srinu Vaitla’s recent film, “Viswam” is much better. In fact, until the interval block, it felt like “Srinu Vaitla is back”. However, the real issues began in the second half. Even with experienced writers like Srinu Vaitla and Gopimohan on board, they failed to write even the most basic scenes, and the screenplay in the second half. The way the climax was handled was disappointing. Until then, the positive vibe of the movie was completely ruined by that climax.

As a director, Srinu Vaitla proved his skills in the first half, but he lost his touch by the second half. The comedy and action sequences were strong points for the film. While we can’t call it a full comeback for Srinu Vaitla, it can be considered somewhat better overall. The music by Chaitan Bharadwaj was very great and the background score adds a positive touch to the movie. K. V. Guhan‘s cinematography is good, especially the drone shots. The production design and art team did not compromise at all. The producers did not compromise at any point.

Analysis: The first half of “Viswam” delivered Srinu Vaitla’s signature entertainment, while the second half lacked logic, bringing the film down to average. If the second half handled carefully, the movie would have surely been a super hit.

Verdict: “Viswam” offers a mix of entertaining moments typical of Srinu Vaitla’s style, especially in the first half, but the second half falters due to a lack of logic and weak execution. While it has its flaws, including a disappointing climax, it stands out as one of the better films from Srinu Vaitla. With solid performances, engaging action, and catchy music, “Viswam” may appeal to fans of mass entertainment, but it ultimately misses the mark of being a super hit.

Bottom Line: Viswam is a partially entertaining film
