Suriya’s Vishwanath and Sons is gearing up for a grand release this Friday. Directed by Venky Atluri and the film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.
The pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, Speaking at the event Suriya said that he was keen to work with Venky after watching Lucky Baskhar.
He said Venky initially had a biopic script and producer Naga Vamsi informed him that the director was available.
However, they decided not to make the biopic. This has made fans curious about whose story they were planning to tell.
Venky reportedly dropped the idea as the film had a period setting, similar to his previous movies. Since he wanted something different and Suriya preferred a family entertainer, Vishwanath and Sons took shape.
