Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s upcoming film “Vishwambhara,” slated for release on Sankranthi 2024, promises an exhilarating experience for fans. The film, a fantasy action thriller set across various worlds, is currently in production at Ramoji Film City.
One remarkable aspect of the shoot is Chiranjeevi’s dedication to performing extensive action sequences himself, without resorting to a body double. The current focus is on filming a breathtaking fight scene set in a specially constructed forest environment.
What sets this sequence apart is its gritty realism – Chiranjeevi and the other fighters engage in combat amidst dust, mud, and water, all while being completely covered in wet mud. To achieve this effect, real sand is used to create mud daily, despite the discomfort it may cause the actors and fighters during filming.
Insiders have lauded the resulting action sequences for outperforming previous mud battle scenes in Tollywood. Directed by Vassisht Mallidi, who previously worked on “Bimbisara,” “Vishwambhara” promises to mix Chiranjeevi’s excellent performance with breathtaking visual effects for an unparalleled theatrical sensation.
