After several Telugu films filled with violence, audiences are showing signs of fatigue with the genre.
However, Vishwak Sen is attempting a full-length action film with CULT, which he is also directing. The makers released the trailer recently, and Vishwak hopes the film will help him make a strong comeback.
The trailer promises plenty of blood and violence. Vishwak admitted that he made the film mainly for youngsters and Gen Z audiences rather than trying to appeal to everyone.
He described CULT as a mix of Project X and Squid Game, both popular among young viewers.
However, negative word of mouth could affect the film’s success, making strong promotional strategies important.
