Vishal Reddy became a popular hero in Telugu too even though he acts in Tamil movies predominantly. His movies Chellamee, Sandakozhi made him an household name in Tamil and the dubbed version of SandaKozhi, PandemKodi made him a favourite in Telugu households too.Since the film’s success he has been releasing all his Tamil movies in Telugu also at times as dubbed versions and at times as bilinguals. He faced a career low with films like Pistha, Bhayya and Salute becoming huge disasters in Telugu and Tamil. He recovered from those disappointments with Bala’s Avan Ivan, Vaadu Nenu in Telugu with his career best performance. After that he started his own Production house, Vishal Film Factory and produced films like Palnadu, Indrudu and many more.
These films became hits at box office but after his film with Hari, Pooja he faced few flops like Paayum Puli and Kathakali. Now he is trying to recreate the magic with his latest film, Okkadocchadu. The film is titled Kaththi Sandai in Tamil. The film was thought to be a Diwali release but now the makers have changed their plans to release the movie on November 18th.The film is directed by Suraj. Tamannah, Jagapathi Babu, Soori are playing important roles while the film also marks popular comedian Vadivelu returning back to the screen after a sabbatical and working as a lead actor. The film marks Vishal’s return to comedy entertainer genre after few hardcore heavy subjects.
