Vishal suspended from Tamil Film Producers Council!

Actor and Star, Vishal is no mince with words and he expresses what he feels in front of press without much hesitation. At times he may hold back but whenever he decides to give it a go, he goes for full monty. In a recent interaction with press, Vishal made a Bonda Bajji statement about the piracy and problems faced by him as a producer. The statement against office bearers has been taken seriously by TFPC under present Office bearer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, producer of Kabali and Theri. TFPC issued temporary suspension orders in favour of suspending the primary membership of Vishal from the Council. In response to it, Vishal expressed his disbelief in front of the press and said he could not express like Siva karthikeyan but had he done it earlier, things would have been different he said.

He also made it clear that the statement was made in casual and colloquial sense and should not have been taken seriously. He also expressed his angst over cribbing someone’s voice in opposition to acting upon the issue risen by them. He said youngsters should be allowed to question and the issue of piracy is getting bigger day by day. Industry should act as one against it but nothing as been done by the Council as a body, but every producer is left to deal with it individually during their film release.

He said in January, he wish the council would go for vote and elections for new office bearers. He said an young team will contest in the election, even though he cannot now, he will definitely support the group who are ready to take up issues rather than taking an issue with people who express their anguish like him. Vishal rose against Sarath Kumar’s administration in Nadigar Sagam fighting for the land and building issue. Now, this suspension regarding piracy statements. Looks like Vishal will take over the Tamil Film Industry if not as an actor, definitely as an administrator.
