Virupaksha starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon as the lead pair had a theatrical release on April 21st. Opened to blockbuster reports, the film had collected a whopping Rs 47.60 crore share at the ticket windows. Below is area-wise breakup data.

As per the reports, the pre-release business for Virupaksha is done for Rs 22.36 crore and the film should collect Rs 22.8 crore share to achieve break-even status. By the end of its full run, the film had collected Rs 47.52 crore share and emerged as a blockbuster success at the box office and minted solid profits for the buyers.
