Reportedly, the theatrical business for Virupaksha is done for Rs 22.36croreand the film should collect Rs 22.8 crore share to emerge as a safe bet to the buyers. Cashing in on the positive word of mouth, the film collected Rs 24.23 crore in its four days, collected Rs 1.43 crore profits and emerged as a solid hit at the box office.
