Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s much-anticipated film, Virata Parvam, is all set to be released on 17th June, after many delays. The film also features Priyamani and Naveen Chandra in important roles and is directed by Venu Udugula. The trailer of the film has been released today and takes us on an interesting ride along with it.
The trailer follows Vennela, Sai Pallavi’s character, who falls in love with Ravanna, a Naxalite. From the songs, it is clear that Vennela falls in love with the revolutionary words of Ravanna, and the trailer reveals just how much she wishes to see him. How Vennela reaches Ravanna, what she has to endure in the process, and whether they will or not, make it to the end, seem to form the rest of the story.
The trailer doesn’t reveal much about the film’s plot, except the basic love story, which would make the film an interesting watch. Moreover, the film is made even more interesting, given that it is based on the Naxalite movement that took place in Telangana in the 1990s. On the whole, Virata Parvam surely seems to be justifying its tagline that reads “Revolution is an act of love”.
