Virat Kohli, an Indian cricketer, and his wife Anushka Sharma travelled to Rishikesh on a spiritual pilgrimage before India’s Test series against Australia. Visits to Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram were made by the couple.
Anushka and Virat can be seen attending the ashram’s services in a number of images that have gone viral.
At the ashram, Virat complied with other devotees’ pleas for selfies. According to rumours, Virat and Anushka will hold a bhandara after taking part in a public religious ceremony at the ashram.
After visiting an ashram in Vrindavan to seek blessings with their daughter Vamika, Virat and Anushka travelled to Rishikesh.
Regarding the games, Australia will host India for a four-game Test series in the upcoming days. The Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 series will be crucial in deciding which teams will finish first and second in the World Test Championship. A playoff spot will be awarded to the top clubs for the one-time championship game at The Oval in June.
While the ODls will get underway on March 17 in Mumbai, the series will start on February 9 in Nagpur.
