VV Vinayak is one of the best mass directors in the Telugu Film Industry and has worked with almost every star hero in Tollywood. He even directed Megastar Chiranjeevi in his comeback, and 150th film, Khaidi No 150. However, in the past few years, Vinayak’s track record hasn’t been that impressive. The director delivered several duds and hasn’t been able to bounce back yet.
Some time ago, Vinayak was all set to debut as an actor with the film Seenayya, which was being produced by Dil Raju. There were decent expectations on the film, and the first look of the film even got a good response from the audience. However, the shooting of the film was stalled midway through shooting, and the film has been put on the shelf ever since.
Vinayak has acted in a few cameos in a few of his movies but ultimately failed to achieve his dream of becoming a full-fledged actor. Looks like his dream may come true after all, in the form of a major cameo in the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshium, starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati. This role was played by the late director Sachi in the original, and Vinayak is all set to shine in this important scene, alongside Rana.
