Vikrant Massey, known for his remarkable performances in films like “12th Fail”, “Sector 36”, and “Sabarmati Express”, has announced a surprising decision to retire from acting at the age of 37.
After gaining critical acclaim for “12th Fail” and being flooded with offers in Bollywood, Vikrant shared the news on his social media.
In his post he wrote “The past few years have been incredible. I’m grateful for all the love and support. But now, it’s time to recalibrate and return home as a husband, father and son, and also as an actor.
In 2025 we will meet for one last time. Two final movies and countless memories. Thank you for everything. Forever indebted”.
He is currently working on two films. His fans are shocked by this unexpected decision.
Vikrant journey has not been easy. He started on television making his debut with “Dhoom Machao Dhoom” and rising to fame with “Balika Vadhu” in 2009.
He transitioned to films and OTT platforms, earning recognition. His notable works include “Chhapaak” “Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi”, and “Gaslight”.
