Vikrant Massey will star opposite Raashii Khanna in a love story after romancing actors on screen including Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Sanya Malhotra, and Sara Ali Khan.
It’s safe to say that 2023 has been good to Vikrant Massey. The actor began the year with the thriller Gaslight, starring Sara Ali Khan, from Pavan Kripalani, and followed it with the ensemble-cast thriller Mumbaikar from Santosh Shivan. In the near future, he will be featured in four more films, including 12th Fail by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sector 36 by Aditya Nimbalkar, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba by Taapsee Pannu, and Blackout by Devang Bhavsar starring Mouni Roy. Vikrant has already signed yet another fascinating project, adding to his already full schedule.
With the actress Raashii Khanna, Vikrant Massey will produce a romantic comedy. Bodhayan Roy Chaudhury, a debutante who also wrote Vikrant’s next thriller Sector 36, has cast Vikrant and Raashii opposite one another in a love narrative. Shooting has already started in Mumbai, despite the fact that the narrative and other specifics of this nameless film are being kept under wraps. With intentions for a theatrical release in the first half of next year, Vikrant and Raashii started filming this movie around two to three days ago. They anticipate finishing it by November 2023.
Raashii Khanna’s third Hindi feature, following the 2013 release of Madras Cafe and the impending action movie Yodha from Sidharth Malhotra, is an as-yet-untitled love drama. The actor from Tholi Prema has recently been looking into Hindi productions, and she most recently appeared in Raj & DK’s Farzi on Amazon Prime. Prior to that, she co-starred with Ajay Devgn in Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, a Hindi version of the British television series Luther produced by Disney+Hotstar. She has Methavi and Aranmanai 4 in various phases of production on the southern front.
Vikrant Massey is currently anticipating the October 27 premiere of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, which is due to hit theatres. The best-selling novel by Anurag Pathak about the extraordinary journey of IRS officer Shraddha Joshi and IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma served as the basis for the film. Aside from the projects mentioned above, Vikrant is also working on Niranjan Iyengar’s first film as a filmmaker, which is an adaptation of a short tale by Ruskin Bond.
