Actor Vikram Matsal responded to Manoj Muntashir’s apology about the Adipurush conversation scandal in a recent interview.
Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, has only received hateful and troll remarks since the premiere of the trailer. The outcry continued after the movie was released and a sizable number of people had seen it. The Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan-led movie has it all—poor VFX and CGI effects, a terrible representation of the mythological drama Ramayana, odd ‘tapori’ lines, and more.
Manoj Muntashir addressed the issue after initially defending the movie and the contentious Lord Hanuman conversation in Adipurush. He then apologised in front of the audience. Hanuman in the 2008 film Ramayan, Vikram Matsal, has now responded to the same and attacked the screenwriter.
Vikram Matsal expressed his opinion on it and said that this realisation should have happened sooner after Manoj Muntashir’s apology was made a few hours earlier. He said, “Aapne (Manoj Muntashir) Sanatan dharam ki poore vishva mein aapne Rs 600 crore kharch kar badnaami ki hai. Aapko pehle din hi maafi mangni chaiye thi. Aap samajdaar aur padhe-likhe ho kar hokar itni badi galti kaise kar sakte hai.”
Well, for the unversed, weeks after defending the Hanuman dialogue in Adipurush, Manoj Muntashir finally apologised to the audience in his recent tweet. He wrote in his public apology, “I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation.”
Manoj’s apologies, however, didn’t sit well with the online community, and as a result, they never stopped making fun of him. For those who don’t know, Saif Ali Khan played Lankesh in Adipurush while Kriti Sanon played Janaki and Prabhas played Raghava.
