Kollywood star Vijay has been dubbing all his movies in Telugu for the past decade or so. Due to the same, the mass managed to win the love of the Telugu audience.
On the box office front, Vijay’s films like Master, Bigil among others turned as good hits here in Telugu. Meanwhile, for the past couple of years, news has been circulating among film circles is that Vijay is keen on doing a straight Telugu film to expand his market.
Now, the latest update is that Vijay will be doing a straight Telugu film soon. Reportedly, noted Telugu director Vamshi Padipally met Vijay in Chennai a couple of days back and narrated him a storyline.
Sources also reveal that impressed with the core point, Vijay has asked Vamshi to work on the full script. If everything goes well, the project will be bankrolled by reputed Telugu producer Dil Raju.
Currently, Vijay has a project with young filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar that will go on the floors in the second half of 2021. Later, Vijay has a commitment for Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers for a project under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction.
After wrapping up the above commitments, Vijay is likely to start shooting for his straight Telugu project.
