Vijay’s final film Jana Nayagan has been delayed by five months. It was originally planned to release on January 9th but faced issues with the censor process.
The Revising Committee watched the film earlier, but the certificate was not given at that time.
Now there is good news for all. The Revising Committee has cleared the film and the makers are expected to receive the censor certificate before this weekend. Once it is issued the team will announce a new release date without fail.
The film is likely to hit theatres on June 19th. Business deals will be restarted after the date is confirmed.
Amazon Prime and Zee Studios are in talks for digital rights. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is expected to open big.
