Puri Jagannadh shared an emotional phone call he had with V Vijayendra Prasad. He explained “A week after my last movie “Liger” flopped I got an unexpected call from Vijayendra Prasad Garu.
He rarely calls me, so I was surprised. He asked me “Sir, could you do me a favor?” I wondered what I could do for someone whose son is SS Rajamouli.
He wanted me to share the story of my next film with him. He said “I don’t want to see directors like you failing because of small mistakes”. I was moved by his call”.
Puri also mentioned that he did not share the story of “Double ISmart” with Vijayendra Prasad but plans to meet him after the film’s release.
“I put my heart and soul into Double ISmart,” he said. It’s known that Puri Jagannadh is Vijayendra Prasad’s favorite director.
