Vijay voluntarily cuts down his remuneration

Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay is one of the most paid stars in India. It is said that he takes close to 60 Crore rupees’ remuneration for each movie. However, if the latest reports are to be believed, he came forward to voluntarily cut down his remuneration. Reports are that he has agreed to reduce Rs. 20 Crores for each movie for a couple of years from his remunerations.

Vijay is currently awaiting the release of Master. He is said to be teaming up with AR Murugadoss for his next. The director too came forward to slash down his remuneration. It is said that many star heroes and star directors will take this step to help out the producers. Currently, there is a huge economic recession in the country and the Film Industry is struck badly with the pandemic situation. So, stars reducing remunerations will help out the producers a lot. Hope many stars walk in the same direction as Vijay’s.
