Vijay Devarakonda is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Liger, directed by Puri Jagannath. The film would mark the actor’s first every pan-Indian release. There are a lot of expectations surrounding the movie, considering that Vijay already has a good fan base in the North, despite a single release in the North, and because Bollywood star producer, Karan Johar, is co-producing the film.
Vijay took place in a press meet in Mumbai today, and he opened up about his character from Liger. Talking about his stammer in the film, Vijay said that he took three days to perfect the stammer and get the tone of it right. He said that the stammer that his character has adds an interesting layer to his personality, as his character is someone who’s very tough and aggressive on the outside but is also very vulnerable, to the point where he can’t say I Love You to the girl he loves.
Liger features Ananya Panday as the leading lady, while Ramya Krishnan will be seen in an important role, playing Vijay’s mother. World-renowned fighter Mike Tyson will also be seen in the film, in a key role.
