Vijay taking an unnecessary risk?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is someone whose stardom is rarely questioned by anyone in Tamil Nadu, as he enjoys unchallenged stardom in the state. However, that’s not the case in other states for the actor. Vijay’s market in the Telugu states only got better recently, based on which his films are being released in Telugu.

Now, with KGF 2 all set to be released on April 14th, and Vijay’s Beast having been announced for April 13th, insiders are saying that Vijay might be taking an unnecessary risk by releasing his film just a day ahead of KGF 2’s release. The KGF franchise has created a very loyal base for itself in the Telugu states, and KGF 2 is currently a highly anticipated film here.

While Beast may perform well in Tamil and Malayalam, experts are saying that the film might take a huge hit in the Telugu states, and in Karanataka, given KGF’s popularity. On the whole, it is being said that it’s better Vijay reconsiders his release date. It is now to be seen what will happen.
