Vijay takes over Mahesh in grand style

Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy shooting for director Puri Jagannath’s Liger, which will mark the young actor’s first pan-Indian film. The teaser of the film was released recently and was received exceptionally well by everyone, who praised the visuals and the attitude the actor showcased in the film.

While Vijay’s projects after Liger haven’t been confirmed yet, the actor has made a grand splash, thanks to his new Thumsup ad. Superstar Mahesh Babu was the brand ambassador for Thumsup until now, but Vijay has now taken over the mantle. The new ad has been released today, which showcases Vijay as an action hero, where he can be heard uttering “Idi soft drink kadu tammudu, toofan”.

Before Mahesh, Megastar Chiranjeevi was the brand ambassador of Thumsup, and Mahesh has been featuring in the ads for a long time now. While no one saw the replacement coming, Vijay has surely taken over Mahesh in grand style.
