Actress Kriti Shetty made her debut as a heroine in the blockbuster film “Uppena” but faced a string of failures thereafter, leaving her without many hit films or offers. Despite her setbacks, she remains hopeful of achieving success once again.
Presently, she has one film lined up in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages, but there’s news of a missed opportunity. Talented actor Vijay Sethupathi turned down a chance to work with Kriti Shetty, citing a specific reason.
He explained that he had already portrayed her father in “Uppena,” and when approached for another film where Kriti would play his romantic interest, he declined. He communicated his reluctance to the film’s producers upon seeing her photo, emphasizing that he didn’t wish to act romantically opposite her due to their previous on-screen relationship.
As for their current projects, Vijay Sethupathi is busy with films like “Maharajah,” “Merry Christmas,” and “Gandhi Tax.” Meanwhile, Kriti Shetty is set to appear alongside stars like Sharwanand and Tovino Thomas in her upcoming films. Despite the missed opportunity with Sethupathi, she remains determined to score a big hit and revive her career in the entertainment industry.
