Vijay Sethupathi played a negative role in a Bollywood film Jawan. While his performance was praised many of his fans did not like seeing him as a villain.
Though he was happy to share screen with Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay has now decided not to do negative roles anymore.
He said neither he nor his fans enjoy him playing such characters and he won’t take up villain roles just to support another hero.
Speaking on his 48th birthday Vijay shared that life is not only about cinema and there is much more he wants to experience. He added that the script always matters most to him, no matter the language.
Vijay will next be seen in Gandhi Talks which revolves around a man who stands by truth. He also has Slum Dog with Puri Jagannadh and the poster released today got a great response.
