The upcoming film Arasan directed by Vetrimaaran and starring Silambarasan TR is generating strong buzz among fans.

The shoot is progressing very much quick and the team is aiming to complete it on time without fail. A major highlight is Vijay Sethupathi who will be seen as a police officer in a powerful role.

This film is connected to the world of Vada Chennai and is said to be a spin off. Samuthirakani and Andrea Jeremiah are expected to return in very related roles.

The story will feature a gripping cop vs criminal angle set in North Chennai.
