Vijay Sethupathi responded to this comparison by saying, “I told Krithi to see me as her father during the filming of Uppena. So, it wouldn’t be right for me to take her as my onscreen heroine now. Other actors might have done it based on the story’s demands. It’s wrong to compare.”
