Vijay Sethupathi has reacted to serious allegations made by a user on X, accusing him of sexual exploitation. He called the claims disgusting and completely false.
Though he admitted his family was disturbed, he said he wasn’t affected. Vijay has filed a complaint with the cybercrime department and said, “Anyone who knows me even a little will find these accusations laughable. I know who I am, and such baseless allegations won’t shake me”.
He added that such people are just seeking attention and that he is used to dealing with rumors for years.
He also questioned the timing pointing out that his film is doing well and that some people might try to ruin it. He expressed concern over how anyone can post false things online without consequences.
The post, made by a user named Ramya Mohan has since been deleted but had already gone viral before its removal.
