Vijay reveals reason behind Liger’s delay

Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannath’s upcoming film, Liger, co-produced by Bollywood star Producer Karan Johar, featuring Ananya Panday as the leading lady, has been postponed several times due to various reasons, including both the waves of the coronavirus pandemic.

There have been a lot of expectations on the film since the day it was announced, due to the crazy combination of Vijay and Puri, both of whom are eccentric people in their own right. Moreover, Vijay’s transformation for the film has been phenomenal, as he will be seen playing a boxer in the film, sending fans into a frenzy. The expectations on the film rose much higher after it was recently announced that popular boxer Mike Tyson will be playing a key role in the film.

Speaking to the media recently, Vijay revealed the reason behind Liger still being delayed. Vijay said that it is because they have to go to the US to film the sequences between him and Mike Tyson’s character, and due to Covid protocols, this has been delayed, thus delaying the film.
