Vijay-Raju project to begin next year

Vijay Deverakonda enjoys a good fanbase across the country, which was more than evident during the promotions of the actor’s recently released film Liger. Liger was made with Vijay’s pan-Indian appeal, in the first place, but of course, it wasn’t enough to make the film sustain and become a hit across the country.

The actor had been on a break until recently, and just resumed shooting for his upcoming film Kushi, directed by Siva Nirvana. Samantha is the leading lady of this film, which is a romantic entertainer. Apart from that, Vijay also has Puri Jagannath’s Jana Gana Mana lined up, the first schedule of which was wrapped up even before the release of Liger. The actor will go back to the sets of JGM after Kushi. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of this movie.

After that, Vijay will begin shooting for producer Dil Raju’s film in the second half of next year, which he signed some time ago. The director of the film is yet to be finalised, with producer Raju said to be on the hunt for the right director for the project, currently.
