Vijay meets Tamil Nadu CM ahead of Master’s release

Ilaiyathapalathy Vijay is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Master. The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Though there are many lucrative offers from OTT platforms, the makers of Master have stick on to the theatrical release process. It is said that Master will release in the theaters in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu on January 13th.

Currently, in the three states, 50 percent occupancy in the theaters is being implemented. However, Vijay has today met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister EK Palaniswami to request for a smooth release of Master.

He has requested the Chief Minister to give permissions for 100 percent occupancy in the theaters from the Sankranthi festival as the film industry is hit badly by the COVID pandemic. We have to wait and see what decision will the Tamil Nadu government will take.
