Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger business on top gear
A couple of days back we had reported that noted Nizam distributor Warangal Srinu has acquired the Telugu version rights for director Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-India film, Liger. Reportedly, Warangal Srinu has invested Rs 75 crore and bagged the rights.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Liger’s non-theatrical rights such as digital, audio and satellite brought the makers a whopping of Rs 100 crore revenue. Being bankrolled by Charmee in association with Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, Liger has young beauty Ananya Pandey as the female lead.
Amid high expectations, this boxing drama is all set to hit the screens simultaneously in Hindi and all South languages on August 25th.
