Vijay Deverakonda and the team of Liger is currently busy promoting their film, which is all set to be released on August 25th. The film features Ananya Panday as the leading lady, and is co-produced by Karan Johar. The film marks the first pan-Indian release for Vijay, who already enjoys a good following in the Hindi market.
For the past several days, the team has been going across the country in the name of Fandom tours, and is now doing back-to-back interviews. In a recent interview, where Charmmee Kaur, one of the producers for the film, was interviewing Vijay and Puri, she asked how much they thought the movie would collect at the box office.
Vijay said that he is expecting the film to collect somewhere close to 200 Crores, or maybe even more than that. Vijay will be seen as an MMA fighter in Liger, and the film also features Ramya Krishna as his mother, while world-renowned boxer Mike Tyson will be seen in a key role, and is expected to be seen as Vijay’s father in the film.
