Vijay Devarakonda has become a new star sensation, with films like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy. The actor has earned a lot of fame among the youngsters and he is looking to consolidate his market as the hero by doing content oriented films, as many as he can. His last film released in August, but he is not worried about when will next release. He believes that content will make audience watch his movies but not any other factor.
He started shooting for Taxiwala and Geetha Govindam movies long time back. Geeta Govindam will release in Monsoon season, but Taxiwala has been long time in post production. Rahul Sankrityan is directing the movie. The movie will have him playing a complete mass character as per the sources. Priyanka Jawalkar is acting as the lady lead besides him.
A source in the know told, “The movie is almost ready and the producers are eyeing, 18th May release. They do not want to clash with any big film and want to have a free weekend during Summer season, as the movie is rich in VFX. Vijay Devarakonda is not in any hurry and he is looking to get the content right with this movie too.” The official confirmation regarding this release date will come in March after the strike against Digital content exhibitors like Qube, gets a solution.
