Vijay Devarakonda’s much-awaited rural drama with director Ravi Kiran Kola has finally taken off after years of discussion. The film was launched today in Hyderabad with a grand puja ceremony.
Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and the shoot will begin later this month. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead marking her first Telugu film after marriage.
The launch event, held at Dil Raju’s office, saw the presence of special guests Allu Aravind and Hanu Raghavapudi, along with Vijay and Keerthy. The film is expected to be titled Rowdy Janardhan, a title Dil Raju had revealed earlier.
Meanwhile Vijay is currently busy with Rahul Sankrityan’s period drama, produced by Mythri Movie Makers which is set for release next year.
The actor plans to shoot both films simultaneously promising an exciting year ahead for his fans.
